Green Impact Go 2024 – 6.5 Cleanup Action
淨零行動2024 – 6.5淨灘保育行動

Members of the Alumni Club participated in “Green Impact Go 2024” on World Environment
Day on 5 June 2024. By joining hands with other community partners, they cleaned up over
408 kg of coastal waste, demonstrating their commitment to protecting the coastal and
marine ecosystem while putting the Housing Society’s green principles in practice.

同學會成員於二零二四年六月五日的「世界環境日」參與了「淨零行動2024 – 6.5淨灘保育行動」。
與其他社區夥伴攜手，他們清理了超過四百零八公斤海岸垃圾，以實際行動為保育海岸和海洋生
態出一分力，同時實踐了房協的綠色理念。

Waste Wood Recycling Guided Tour and Upcycling Workshop
回收木材導賞團及升級再造工作坊

In collaboration with The Salvation Army Yaumatei Integrated Service for Young People,
members of the Alumni Club organised a visit to Hong Kong Timberbank for the children
living in Prosperous Garden and the surrounding neighbourhood in Yau Ma Tei. The visit
allowed the children to understand waste wood recycling and upcycling processes. With
guidance from Alumni Club volunteers, the children turned scrap wood into coasters,
learning how to integrate sustainability practices into their daily lives.

港木庫。這次參觀讓孩子們了解
廢木回收和升級再造過程。在同
學會成員義工隊的指導下，孩子
們將廢棄木材製成杯墊，學習如
何將可持續發展元素融入日常
生活。
