Chairman’s Statement
主席報告
房協作為一個財政獨立的法定機構，目的是為
香港市民提供房屋及相關服務。我們有責任回
應政府的房屋措施及推行創新的房屋意念。同
時，我們亦透過復修及重建轄下的出租屋邨，
用關懷的心提升管理服務，改善住戶的居住環
境。對於整個社區，房協參與樓宇維修計劃，
並向公眾推廣「居家安老」。當我們設計和推
出項目時，必定會考慮市民的承擔能力。
The Housing Society is established by
statute as a financially-independent
organisation to serve the needs of the Hong
Kong community in housing and related
services. We see it as our responsibility
to respond to Government initiatives
and pioneer new ideas. We improve
the living environment of our tenants
through rehabilitation and redevelopment
of our rental estates and enhance our
management services with a new dimension
of care. Towards the wider community, we
take part in building maintenance schemes
for the community and promote ‘ageing in
place’ to the public. Affordability is always
a consideration when we design and market
our products.
