Green activities in which our estates took part during the review
period included World Environment Day, the Used Book Recycling
Campaign, the Energy Saving Charter on Indoor Temperature, Earth
Hour, No Plastic Bottle Day, No Air Con Night and Power Smart Energy
Saving Contest with Friends of the Earth (Hong Kong), and the

Green Carnival organised by the Green Council.
In another environmental activity, the Hong Kong Tree Planting Day
held in Tai Tong, Yuen Long, over 80 residents from our rental estates
took part as an annual exercise and have planted more than 8,000
tree seedlings since 1997.
Our environmental efforts have been extended to our office
environment by improving air quality, promoting recycling and saving
energy. Our head office at the World Trade Centre maintained the
‘Excellent Class’ standard under the Indoor Air Quality Certificate
Scheme of the Environmental Protection Department for 2015/2016,
while our regional office at Dragon Centre and office at 1063 King’s
Road maintained the ‘Good Class’ standard.
年內，房協轄下屋邨參與的環保活動包括
「世界環境日」、「舊書回收大行動」、「室內
溫度節能約章計劃」、「地球一小時」、「無膠
樽日」、「無冷氣夜」、「香港地球之友」舉辦
的「知慳惜電」節能比賽，以及環保促進會的
「第十三屆環保嘉年華」。
至於在元朗大棠舉行的一年一度環保活動
「香港植樹日」，有超過
80
名房協的屋邨居民
參加。自一九九七年起，這項活動已共種植
超過
8,000
棵樹苗。
房協亦將環保工作伸延至工作間，包括改善
空氣質素、推動回收及節能。於二零一五╱
一六年度，房協位於世貿中心的總辦事處獲
環境保護署主辦的「優質室內空氣質素檢定
計劃」評定為「卓越級」，而位於龍濤苑的區
域辦事處及英皇道

號的辦公室則續獲評
為「良好級」。
