Protecting the Environment
During the year, we published our
Environmental Report 2015
which summarised Housing Society’s achievements in carbon
reduction, waste management, pollution minimisation and natural
resources conservation over the past two years.
We have implemented the ISO 14001 Environmental Management
System since 2002. Various environmental control initiatives have
been introduced in our urban renewal, subsidised sale flats, rental
and city revitalisation projects. As the first housing development
organisation to receive this certification in Hong Kong, the Housing
Society has been making reference to this system to monitor and
reduce the impacts of noise, dust and vibration generated from
demolition, foundation and superstructure works.
Guided by the ISO 14001 framework, we have undertaken regular
housekeeping and waste sorting on our construction sites, recycled
waste water for our superstructure works, and installed washing
facilities for construction vehicles and workers at all site entrances.
We also regularly clean public roads in the vicinity of all our
construction projects.

我們在年內發表的《二零一五年環保報告》
中,概述了過去兩年房協在減碳、廢物處
理、污染控制和保護自然資源各方面的環保
表現。
房協於二零零二年起實施
ISO 14001
環境管理
認證系統,並在市區重建、資助出售房屋、
出租屋邨和市區活化的項目引入多項環境
監控措施。作為本港首間取得該認證的房屋
發展機構,房協根據此系統監察及減低因
拆卸、地基及上蓋工程而產生的噪音、灰塵
及震動。
在
ISO 14001
的框架指引下,房協承諾定期於
建築地盤進行內務管理和廢物分類,在上蓋
工程進行循環污水處理,以及在所有地盤
入口安裝工程車輛和工人的沖洗設備。我們
亦定期清洗所有施工地盤附近的公共道路。
