Beijing Housing Centre, representatives from the Hong Kong Shanghai
Pudong Association, teachers from Guangzhou University and the
Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and a
delegation from Singapore’s Centre for Liveable Cities under the
Executive Development and Growth Exchange (EDGE) Programme.
In addition, a number of government officials from the Mainland,
including the municipalities of Nanning, Zhongshan and Foshan,
visited the Housing Society to discuss topics such as our elderly
housing initiatives, property management and rehabilitation of our
old rental estates.
Visitors expressed particular interest in our work on elderly housing,
including The Tanner Hill, the first non-subsidised quality retirement
housing project in Hong Kong, the Senior Citizen Residences Scheme
projects for the middle-income elderly and the Ageing-in-Place scheme
that caters for the elderly in our rental estates.
One of the major professional development activities organised by the
HSA during the year was the Age-friendly Housing Seminar held in
November 2015 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
During the seminar, we shared views on how to achieve ‘ageing in
place’ with overseas experts and industry practitioners. Speakers
included professionals and professors specialising in ageing issues and
age-friendly living from the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Hong
Kong. Nearly 350 participants attended the event, including housing
professionals, academics and students.

房屋項目、物業管理及舊邨復修等。
訪客特別關注房協在長者房屋方面的
工作，包括本港首個非資助的優質退休房
屋項目「雋悅」、為中產長者而設的「長者
安居樂」住屋計劃，以及照顧出租屋邨長者
需要的「樂得耆所」居家安老計劃。
「專業發展中心」年內籌辦的大型專業發展
活動，包括於二零一五年十一月假香港
會議展覽中心舉行的「長者友善房屋研
討會」，與海外專家及業界人士分享「居家
安老」的經驗。講者包括來自荷蘭、英國及
香港研究長者議題及「長者友善」生活的專
家及教授，吸引近

名業界人士、學者及
學生出席。
