During the review period, we continued to support the long-term
sustainability of our operations by developing our staff and
upgrading our IT infrastructure.
Staff Sustainability and Care
As at the end of March 2016, the total headcount of the Housing
Society was 1,231, a rise of 0.08% over the year before. The
annualised turnover rate was 15.62%, which is below that of the
property management sector in general (20.1% as reported by
human resources consultants).
Staff training continued to take a high priority during the year. Over
4,200 man-days of learning and development sessions (averaging 3.5
training man-days per staff) were held to upgrade work competencies
of staff and fulfil professional development needs. The training was
provided under the major themes of customer care and individual
effectiveness enhancement.
