In May 2015, our Chairman delivered a speech on ‘Housing Demand
in An Ageing Community’ at the Hong Kong Annual Conference 2015
of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Hong Kong. In the
same month, our Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director gave
a speech on ‘Quality Retirement Living with Technology’ at The Hong
Kong Institute of Surveyors Property and Facility Management
Division Conference 2015 cum 10

Anniversary.
In March 2016, our Chairman also spoke on the topic of ‘Building to
meet New Housing Needs’ at The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers
Building Division 15

Annual Seminar on the Challenges of Building
Development in Metropolises.
To support students pursuing studies in the housing industry and
related fields, we held the 11
th
Hong Kong Housing Society Award
Presentation Ceremony in January 2016. First introduced in 2006, this
annual award encourages young people who undertake studies in
housing and elderly services. A total of 47 students from 11 local
universities and continuing education schools received awards. Since
last year, we have also held a separate award programme for the
Vocational Training Council (VTC) students, and this year, we
presented awards to 43 students from six VTC institutes.
於二零一五年五月，房協主席在皇家特許
測量師學會香港分會二零一五年周年會
議上，以「人口老化社區的房屋需求」為題
發表演說。同月，房協行政總裁兼執行總
幹事亦在二零一五年香港測量師學會物業設
施管理組研討會暨十周年誌慶上，以「優質
退休生活與科技」為題演講。
於二零一六年三月，房協主席在香港工程師
學會建造分部以「大都會建設發展的挑戰」為
題的第十五屆周年研討會上，就如何迎合新
的房屋需求發表演說。
為支持學生修讀房屋及相關的學科，我們於
二零一六年一月舉行「第十一屆香港房屋協
會獎助學金計劃頒獎典禮」。一年一度的獎助
學金計劃於二零零六年設立，鼓勵年輕人修
讀與房屋及長者服務相關的課程。本年度合
共有
47
名來自本港
11
間大學及持續進修學院
的學生獲獎。自去年起，我們另為職業訓練
局（職訓局）設立獎助學金名額，今年共有
43
名來自六間職訓局的學生獲獎。
