Kwun Tong Garden Estate residents joined the "World Environmental Day 2013
– Love Food Waste Not Campaign" as ambassadors for the Campaign. Through
various activities such as workshops, talks and carnival, our residents were taught
to treasure food waste and transform it to re-usable resources. This message and
relevant knowledge were also promoted among other Housing Society estates.

The Housing Society is a signee of the Food Wise Charter, demonstrating our
commitment in food waste reduction through education to enhance the awareness
among our residents. With this objective, the Housing Society Community (HSC)
organised various activities, including "Food Waste Recycling & Community
Farming Workshop" and "Award Scheme" to impart best practices to our residents
and encourage their participation in reducing food waste.
