BUSINESS OPERATIONS

業務重點

During the year, we undertook a comprehensive review of various

sites in Southern District in order to identify rehousing opportunities

for the residents affected by the redevelopment programme, as they

would prefer not to move to a new district and lose contact with

their neighbours.

Even though readily available land for rehousing in the area is in

short supply, we succeeded in locating a site near the Tin Wan

neighbourhood at Shek Pai Wan Road for developing a 26-storey

building with approximately 600 rental flats. We subsequently

received in-principle support from the Southern District Council

for rezoning the site and prepared a revised traffic arrangement in

answer to concerns raised by local residents over the traffic impact

of the new development.

We then submitted the rezoning proposal for the Tin Wan decanting

site to the Town Planning Board at the end of March 2016.

Construction of the decanting site is expected to begin in 2018.

原則上支持改劃土地用途,並修訂了交通

安排,回應區內居民提出新發展對交通影響

的疑慮。

其後,我們於二零一六年三月底就田灣的

調遷地點向城市規劃委員會提交改劃建議,

建築工程預期將於二零一八年動工。
