Estate Management

屋邨管理

Our core business involves managing a portfolio of rental estates as

well as providing related services for our tenants. As many of them

are now at an advanced age, we have become increasingly committed

to assisting the elderly in our estates and the community with

housing and services that meet their needs.

Redevelopment and Rehabilitation of

Rental Estates

Our primary focus in 2015/16 continued to be the redevelopment

and rehabilitation of our ageing rental estates, of which eight out of

20 are over 40 years old, and the identification of sites for rehousing

the affected residents.

With the redevelopment of our rental estates, our tenants will be

able to enjoy a more convenient living environment in flats that have

up-to-date layouts and finishes. Redeveloping these estates also

allows us to make better use of the development potential of the

sites on which they are located.

Two redevelopment projects were underway during the year –

Ming Wah Dai Ha in Shau Kei Wan and Yue Kwong Chuen

in Aberdeen.

我們的核心業務涉及出租屋邨的管理,並為

居民提供相關服務。由於不少居民年事

漸高,我們更不斷致力協助轄下屋邨及社區

上的長者,提供切合他們需要的房屋及

服務。

屋邨重建及復修

房協轄下共有二十個出租屋邨,其中八個已

超過四十年樓齡,因此我們於二零一五╱

一六年度的首要任務仍然是舊邨重建及

復修,並為受影響的居民物色調遷地點。

屋邨重建後,單位的設計及配套將更合

時宜,為居民帶來更便利的生活環境,同時

亦令屋邨地皮的發展潛力得以盡用。

年內,兩個進行中的重建項目分別是位於

筲箕灣的明華大廈及香港仔的漁光村。
