In order to prolong the life of our housing estates and align with
our long-term estate redevelopment programme, we have been
carrying out extensive rehabilitation and improvement works
wherever feasible.
For example, during the review period we built an additional shuttle
lift at Prosperous Garden, completed in January 2016 to allow easier
access by the residents. We also began the works for a transfer lift
at Jat Min Chuen in March 2016.
In addition to these two estates, we have already completed
upgrading works to our other rental estates, including Kwun Lung Lau,
Ming Wah Dai Ha, Lok Man Sun Chuen and Cho Yiu Chuen.
Also during the year, inspections under the Voluntary Building
Assessment Scheme were made at 17 blocks in five estates, and
assessors appointed for another seven blocks in four estates.
為延長轄下屋邨的壽命，並配合長遠的屋邨
重建計劃，在可行的情況下，我們會為屋邨
進行大規模的復修及改善工程。
其中的例子包括年內於駿發花園加建轉乘升
降機，方便居民出入，工程已於二零一六年
一月完成。另外，乙明邨的轉乘升降機工程
亦已於二零一六年三月展開。
除了該兩個屋邨外，我們亦完成其他出租
屋邨的提升工程，包括觀龍樓、明華大廈、
樂民新村及祖堯邨。
此外，五個屋邨共

座大廈已於年內通過
「自願樓宇評審計劃」的檢驗，並已委聘評核
員為另外四個屋邨共七座大廈作檢驗。
