There were 11 members on the Special Committee on Elderly Housing
as at 1 April 2015. Mr Yeung Ka-sing resigned from the Special
Committee on Elderly Housing on 5 May 2016. All members retired at
the AGM held on 8 September 2015 in line with the expiry of the term
of the Special Committee on Elderly Housing. Mr Walter Chan Kar-lok
stepped down from the chairmanship of the Special Committee on
Elderly Housing as he had retired from the Executive Committee at the
2015 AGM after serving for six consecutive years; and Chairman of the
Special Committee had to be a member of the Executive Committee
in accordance with the Housing Society’s By-law 31. Nevertheless,
Mr Walter Chan Kar-lok indicated interest to continue serving
on the Special Committee on Elderly Housing as a member. Ms
Ophelia Chan Chiu-ling, Ms Loretta Ho Pak-ching andMr Alex Lui Chun-wan
were not eligible for re-appointment as they had already served on
the Special Committee on Elderly Housing for six consecutive years.
At the Executive Committee meeting held on 17 September 2015,
Mr Chan Ka-kui, Mr Walter Chan Kar-lok, Mrs Cecilia Lee Yip Wai-kay,
Dr Lawrence Li Kwok-chang and Mr Timothy Ma Kam-wah were
re-appointed as members of the Special Committee on Elderly
Housing. Six other Housing Society members, namely Dr Lam Ching-choi,
Mr Kenneth Chan Chi-yuk, Mrs Peter Choy Pun Siu-fun, Mr Patrick Lau Lai-chiu,
Mrs Miranda Leung Chan Che-ming, and Mr Philip Liao Yi-kang were
appointed as members of the Special Committee on Elderly Housing.
Dr Lam Ching-choi was appointed Chairman of the Special Committee
on Elderly Housing. The Special Committee on Elderly Housing
comprised 13 members (including two ex officio members, namely
the Chairman of the Housing Society and the Chief Executive Officer
and Executive Director) as at 31 March 2016.
The Special Committee on Elderly Housing held six meetings during
the financial year with an overall attendance rate of 84 per cent.
Task Force on Design and Construction
The Task Force on Design and Construction assists the Executive
Committee to keep track of the time, quality and cost aspects of
construction of major development projects.
There were six members on the Task Force on Design and Construction
as at 1 April 2015. At the Executive Committee meeting held on
17 September 2015, three Housing Society Members, namely
Mr Au Choi-Kai, Ms Julia Lau Man-kwan and Mr Felix Lok Man-fai were
appointed to the Task Force on Design and Construction. The Task
Force on Design and Construction consisted of nine members as
at 31 March 2016.
The Task Force on Design and Construction held 15 meetings during
the financial year with an overall attendance rate of 68 per cent.

員會共有十一位成員。楊家聲先生於二零
一五年五月五日辭任長者房屋特別委員會委
員。由於長者房屋特別委員會任期屆滿，全
體成員已於二零一五年九月八日舉行的周年
委員大會當日退任。於二零一五年周年委員
大會當日，陳家樂先生於連續六年出任執行
委員會委員後退任；根據房協附例第
31
條，
特別委員會主席須由執行委員會委員擔任，故
陳家樂先生亦不再出任長者房屋特別委員會
主席。然而，陳家樂先生表示繼續出任長者
房屋特別委員會委員。陳肖齡女士、何柏貞
女士及雷震寰先生已連續六年出任長者房屋
特別委員會委員，故不能再連任。於二零
一五年九月十七日舉行的執行委員會會議
中，陳家駒先生、陳家樂先生、李葉慧璣
女士、李國祥醫生及馬錦華先生獲再委任長
者房屋特別委員會委員。其他六位房協委員
林正財醫生、陳志育先生、蔡潘少芬女士、
劉勵超先生、梁陳智明女士及廖宜康先生
獲委任為長者房屋特別委員會委員。林正財
醫生獲委任為長者房屋特別委員會主席。在
二零一六年三月三十一日，長者房屋特別委
員會共有十三位成員（包括兩位當然委員，
即房協主席及行政總裁兼執行總幹事）。
長者房屋特別委員會在本財政年度共舉行了
六次會議，整體出席率為百分之八十四。
項目設計及建築工程專責小組
項目設計及建築工程專責小組負責協助執行
委員會監察大型發展項目的工程進度、質素
及成本控制。
截至二零一五年四月一日，項目設計及建築
工程專責小組共有六位成員。於二零一五年
九月十七日舉行的執行委員會會議中，三位
房協委員區載佳先生、劉文君女士及駱文輝
先生獲委任為項目設計及建築工程專責小組
委員。在二零一六年三月三十一日，項目設
計及建築工程專責小組共有九位成員。
項目設計及建築工程專責小組在本財政年度
共舉行了十五次會議，整體出席率為百分之
六十八。
