Other Committees
Audit Committee
The Audit Committee acts on behalf of the Supervisory Board to
oversee the Housing Society’s financial reporting and maintain a close,
positive working relationship among external and internal auditors,
Management personnel and other Committee members. The Audit
Committee also monitors the Housing Society’s internal control
system, overall ethical standards and compliance with applicable laws.
Key areas of review in the year included the review of the reports of
the internal auditor and external auditor, annual risk assessment
update report, appointment of internal auditor and external auditor,
and audited financial statements.
There were ten members on the Audit Committee as at 1 April 2015,
all of them were non-management members of the Housing Society.
The Chairman and the Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board and
the chairmen of other Committees shall not be members of the
Audit Committee. At the AGM held on 8 September 2015, seven
members completed their three-year term of office and retired from
the Audit Committee, including the Audit Committee Chairman,
Mr Joseph Fan Wai-kuen; Mr Ronald Ho Yau-hoo; Mr Sunny Lee Wai-kwong;
Mr Wilson Wong Chiu-sang; Mr Henry Yap Fat-suan; Mr Edgar Kwan Chi-ping
and Dr Tony Leung Ka-tung. In addition, Ms Hilary Cordell opted to retire
from the Audit Committee. Mr Edgar Kwan Chi-ping andDr Tony Leung Ka-tung
had already served on the Audit Committee for six consecutive years
and they were not eligible for re-appointment. At the Supervisory Board
meeting held immediately after the 2015 AGM, Mr Joseph Fan Wai-kuen,
Mr Ronald Ho Yau-hoo, Mr Sunny LeeWai-kwong, Mr WilsonWong Chiu-sang
and Mr Henry Yap Fat-suan were re-appointed to the Audit Committee.
Mr Joseph Fan Wai-kuen was re-appointed as Chairman of the
Audit Committee. Six other Housing Society Members, namely
Mr Joseph Lee Chin-wai, Mr AlvinMakWing-sum, Mr BernardMak Siu-cheung,
Dr Isaac Ng Ka-chui, Mr Nicholas Tan Tsung-yuan and Mr Wong Bay were
appointed to the Audit Committee by the Supervisory Board. The Audit
Committee consisted of 13 members as at 31 March 2016.
The Audit Committee held four meetings during the financial year with
an overall attendance rate of 78 per cent.
Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee acts on behalf of the Supervisory Board and
oversees the Housing Society’s membership nomination and election
processes, and admission of new Members to the Housing Society. It is
dedicated to ensuring that the Housing Society membership consists of
a balanced mix of skills and professional background.

審核委員會代表監事會審核房協的財務報
告，並與外聘及內部核數師、管理層及各
委員會委員保持緊密及良好的合作關係。
審核委員會亦監察房協的內部監控系統、
整體操守水平和依循適用法例的情況。
本年度審核委員會的主要工作包括審核內
部核數師及外聘核數師的報告、年度風險
評估更新報告、內部核數師及外聘核數師
的委任以及已審計的財務報表。
截至二零一五年四月一日，審核委員會共
有十位成員，均為房協的非管理層成員。
監事會主席和副主席及其他委員會主席均
不能出任審核委員會委員。於二零一五年
九月八日舉行的周年委員大會當日，七位
委員於完成其三年任期後退任審核委員會
委員，包括審核委員會主席樊偉權先生、
何猷灝先生、李惠光先生、王潮生先生、
葉發旋先生、關治平先生及梁家棟博士。
此外，吳歌麗女士選擇退任審核委員會委
員。關治平先生及梁家棟博士已連續六年
出任審核委員會委員，故不能再連任。於
二零一五年周年委員大會後接續舉行的監
事會會議中，樊偉權先生、何猷灝先生、
李惠光先生、王潮生先生及葉發旋先生獲
再委任審核委員會委員。樊偉權先生獲再
委任審核委員會主席。其他六位房協委員
李展偉先生、麥永森先生、麥兆祥先生、
吳家鎚博士、陳忠元先生及黃比先生獲監
事會委任為審核委員會委員。在二零一六
年三月三十一日，審核委員會共有十三位
成員。
審核委員會在本財政年度共舉行了四次
會議，整體出席率為百分之七十八。
提名委員會
提名委員會代表監事會監察房協委員的提
名及選舉程序，以及審核新委員加入房協
的提名，並致力確保房協委員具備均衡的
才能及專業背景。
