In collaboration with Environmental Protection
Department and other green parties, the Housing
Society Community organised the residents
to participate in a variety of environmental
programmes and activities such as tree planting, raising plants in nurseries, source
separation of waste and recycling.
In the recycling programmes during the two-year period from 2013 to 2014, the
amount of materials below were collected from our residents:

Through the concerted efforts of our residents, business
partners and staff members, the Housing Society has
been able to achieve remarkable performance in various
environmental aspects over the past two years. Looking
forward, we will continue to explore and implement new
environmental initiatives in our housing projects such as
advanced technologies and management measures for
energy saving, as well as environmental-friendly designs
and construction methods. We will also put in our best
efforts to conserve natural resources and minimise waste
in our housing estates.
To create a sustainable living environment requires the
support and participation from every member in society.
The Housing Society pledges to be a staunch supporter in
integrating environmental practices in business operations,
and will continue to dedicate itself to enhancing
environmental awareness among our residents, staff and
the public through various channels and initiatives.
