Rehabilitation of Rental Estates
For rental estates not in the redevelopment programme, we carry out
rehabilitation in addition to regular maintenance. In 2006, the large-
scale rehabilitation of Moon Lok Dai Ha in Tsuen Wan was completed.
Improvements included the installation of additional lifts, upgrading of
security and fire systems, and refurbishing of external walls and lobbies.
Following that, we also completed the rehabilitation projects at Ming Wah
Dai Ha and Kwun Lung Lau Phase II in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
At the moment, 45 improvement projects are scheduled under the
rehabilitation plan. Under the plan, we have completed upgrading of
electricity installations in Kwun Tong Garden Estate, Lai Tak Tsuen and
Ka Wai Chuen and installed much-needed transfer lifts in Cho Yiu Chuen
and Lok Man Sun Chuen.
To provide our tenants with a safe and comfortable living environment,
HK$2.3 billion has been spent since 2003 on rehabilitation works for
Moon Lok Dai Ha, Kwun Lung Lau, Ming Wah Dai Ha and Yue Kwong
Chuen as well as improvement works in other rental estates. For the
future, we estimate that over HK$200 million will be needed each year.
復修出租屋邨
至於未被納入重建計劃的出租屋邨,除恆常
的保養維修外,我們亦進行復修工程。荃灣
滿樂大廈就於二零零六年完成大型復修,包
括加裝升降機、提升大廈保安及消防系統,
以及翻新大廈外牆及大堂。其後,我們亦分
別在二零一零年及二零一一年完成明華大廈
及觀龍樓二期的復修工程。
現時,房協已編訂進行四十五項屋邨優化工
程。我們已按照計劃為觀塘花園大廈、勵德
邨和家維邨提升電力裝置,並在祖堯邨和樂
民新村安裝切合居民需要的轉乘升降機。
自二零零三年起,房協已投放了二十三億港
元為滿樂大廈、觀龍樓、明華大廈和漁光村
進行復修,以及其他出租屋邨的改善工程,
為居民締造更安全及舒適的居住環境。我們
估計房協日後仍須每年在這方面投放約二億
港元。
