長者房屋及護理
The information collected in these exercises enriches our understanding
of the challenges before us and helps us re-orient our plans and
priorities, and guides us in the design of new products and new schemes.
In a macro perspective, the findings will provide useful reference for
Government as well as other concerned Non-Government Organisations
(NGOs) in considering the long-term strategies for elderly housing and
related services.
‘Ageing in Place’ in Rental Estates
Since the 1970’s, the Housing Society has been providing elderly flats
in its housing estates at concessionary rents. Today, 920 flats in nine
estates are in this category.
For our aged tenants, the Housing Society promotes ‘Ageing-in-Place’
(AIP) Scheme which is to add a dimension of care to housing. Under AIP,
the housing estate is rendered to be age-friendly with communal facilities
adopted or upgraded for the safety and comfort of the aged. At their
own homes, needy elderlies will receive home improvement works at no
charge to ensure that both the fittings and the living environment are safe
and easy for them. We also partner with welfare agencies so that health
and social care services required by the aged are available in the same
estate. Where the case exists, integrated care service is delivered to the
door by our cross-disciplinary teams comprising occupational therapists
and social workers.

看，研究結果亦為政府及其他非政府機構在
制訂長者房屋的長遠策略及相關服務時提供
參考。
在出租屋邨推行「樂得耆所」
自七十年代起，房協已在轄下屋邨以優惠租
金提供長者單位。目前，房協在九個屋邨合
共提供
920
個該類單位。
房協為年長住戶推行「樂得耆所」計劃，將
關懷的元素注入房屋。在這計劃下，屋邨採
用長者友善的設計，因應長者的舒適及安全
需要而設置或提升公共設施。在家居方面，
房協為有需要的長者住戶進行免費家居改善
工程，令其居住環境更方便和安全。我們亦
夥拍社福機構，針對長者在健康及社交方面
的需要，讓他們在其居住的屋邨得到所需服
務。在個別情況下，房協的跨界別團隊，包
括職業治療師及社工，更會上門為長者住戶
提供綜合照護服務。
