Additionally, we conducted studies and analyses for the continuous
provision of SSF sites that have financial and development viability,
including the construction of SSF to help underwrite the cost of
redeveloping our rental estates.
Rental Estates
In addition to redeveloping our existing housing estates, we have
also been commissioned by Government to build more rental flats
in the restricted area of Sha Tau Kok at our existing Sha Tau Kok
Chuen (STKC) to meet the housing needs of the local population.
A detailed design of the new STKC flats was finalised during the
review period, and construction of the superstructure works got
underway in January 2016. By the end of the review period, we were
making satisfactory progress on this project. When completed, the
new building which will be named Ying Hoi House will offer about
140 rental units and ancillary facilities such as shops and parking
spaces. Open invitation to eligible applicants will be arranged in
September 2016.

提供具財務及發展潛力的資助出售房屋的用
地,包括興建資助出售房屋以補貼重建房協
轄下出租屋邨的成本。
出租屋邨
除重建現有的屋邨外,房協亦獲政府委託
在沙頭角禁區內的沙頭角邨興建更多出租
單位,以滿足區內居民的住屋需要。
沙頭角邨新建單位的詳細設計已於年內
落實,上蓋工程亦於二零一六年一月展開。
截至回顧年度終結,該項目的施工進度令人
滿意。新廈將命名為迎海樓,落成後提供約
140
個出租單位,另設商舖及車位等配套
設施,將於二零一六年九月公開接受合資格
人士申請。
