of ‘cross-generation harmony’ with 27 floors of residential flats for
sale in the high zone and six floors of specially-designed elderly flats
for rent on the lower levels. Under this arrangement, two generations
can live close by and care for each other while maintaining their
privacy. All of the private residential units were sold last year, and 56
out of all 60 elderly flats (93%) were let during the review period.
During its redevelopment, the site boundary of the project was set
back in order to widen the pavement to facilitate pedestrian
movement. The neighbouring streets were also repaved to enhance
the landscape and improve traffic flow, fulfilling our urban renewal
objective of revitalising the community.
Project Management
During the review period, we were prepared to begin work on
our two estate redevelopment projects – Ming Wah Dai Ha and
Yue Kwong Chuen – as well as the two Subsidised Sale Flats projects
in Tuen Mun and Tseung Kwan O. This will mark the beginning of a
new cycle of construction that is expected to peak in 2018/19.
We constantly monitored the construction progress of these projects
during the year, while carrying out regular site audits and workshops
to ensure quality and safety. All projects were on schedule and within
budget except Ming Wah Dai Ha Redevelopment Phase I which had
experienced a programme setback, but the impact to the overall
redevelopment programme has been duly contained.

鄰而居，互相照應，又可保持私人生活。項
目的所有私人住宅單位已於去年售罄，而

在進行重建時，我們將該項目的地界範圍後
移以擴闊路面，方便行人。另外，我們亦
重鋪週邊街道以改善景觀及配合交通流量，
達致市區重建項目的活化目的。
項目管理
年內，我們著手為兩個出租屋邨
—
明華
大廈和漁光村進行重建工作，以及為兩個
位於屯門和將軍澳的資助出售房屋項目作好
準備，以啟動新的建築週期，預期於二零
一八╱一九年度進入高峰期。
在過去一年，我們不斷監察該等項目的施工
進度，同時定期巡視工地和舉辦工作坊，
以確保質素和安全。所有項目的進度及預算
均符合預期，除了明華大廈一期重建項目曾
稍有阻滯，但對整個重建項目的時間無甚
影響。
