Board. At the AGM held on 3 September 2013, four Executive Committee
members retired, namely Mr Chan Ka-kui, Ms Katherine Hung Siu-lin,
Dr Lam Ching-choi and Mr James Siu Kai-lau, fulfilling the one-third
retirement rule. Ms Katherine Hung Siu-lin, Dr Lam Ching-choi and
Mr James Siu Kai-lau stood for re-appointment and all of them were
re-appointed at the Supervisory Board Meeting held immediately after
the AGM on 3 September 2013. The other Housing Society member who
was appointed to the Executive Committee was Mr Alex Lui Chun-wan.
The Executive Committee consisted of 12 members as at 31 March 2014.
The Executive Committee held 11 meetings during the financial year with
an overall attendance rate of 80 per cent.
Other Committees
Audit Committee
The Audit Committee acts on behalf of the Supervisory Board to oversee
the Housing Society’s financial reporting and maintain a close, positive
working relationship among external and internal auditors, Management
personnel and other Committee members. The Committee also monitors
the Housing Society’s internal control system, overall ethical standards
and compliance with applicable laws.
There were ten members on the Audit Committee as at 1 April 2013,
all of them were non-management members of the Housing Society.
The Chairman and the Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and
the Chairmen of other Committees shall not be members of the Audit
Committee. At the AGM held on 3 September 2013, Prof Kenneth
Pang Tsan-wing retired from the Audit Committee after serving for six
consecutive years. The Audit Committee consisted of nine members as at
31 March 2014.
The Audit Committee held four meetings during the financial year with an
overall attendance rate of 81 per cent.
日舉行的周年委員大會當日，四位執行委員
會委員退任，包括陳家駒先生、洪小蓮女
士、林正財醫生及蕭啟鎏先生，符合了三分
之一委員退任的規定。洪小蓮女士、林正財
醫生及蕭啟鎏先生選擇競選連任，並於二零
一三年九月三日的周年委員大會後接續舉行
的監事會會議中，再次獲委任為執行委員會
委員。此外，另一位房協委員雷震寰先生亦
獲委任為執行委員會成員。在二零一四年三
月三十一日，執行委員會共有十二位成員。
執行委員會在本財政年度共舉行了十一次會
議，整體出席率為百分之八十。
其他委員會
審核委員會
審核委員會代表監事會審核房協的財務報
告，並與外聘及內部審計師、管理層及其他
委員會委員保持緊密及良好的合作關係。審
核委員會亦監察房協的內部監控系統、整體
操守水平和依循適用法例的情況。
截至二零一三年四月一日，審核委員會共有
十位成員，均為房協的非管理層成員。監事
會主席、副主席及其他委員會主席均不能成
為審核委員會的成員。於二零一三年九月三
日舉行的周年委員大會當日，彭贊榮教授因
已連續六年出任審核委員會委員而須退任。
在二零一四年三月三十一日，審核委員會共
有九位成員。
審核委員會在本財政年度共舉行了四次會
議，整體出席率為百分之八十一。
