The head office at World Trade Centre was also rated ‘Class of Excellence’
under the IAQwi$e Label, the Wastewi$e Label and the Energywi$e Label
by the Environmental Protection Department.
The Housing Society pledges to save energy under the Carbon ‘Less’
certification scheme. In this connection, the head office at World Trade
Centre completed a four-year cycle of sustained efforts and was awarded
the final ‘Carbon Less 20%’ certificate in July 2013.
Caring for the Community
The Housing Society Volunteer Team, comprising Housing Society
staff and their family members, remained active during the year. The
volunteers participated in five activities, including Flag Day organised by
the Agency for Volunteer Service and visit to SAGE Kai Yip Home for the
Elderly, and helped 210 elderly or under-privileged persons. The turnout
rate of the team during the year was 89 counts, involving 48 staff and
41 family members.

Chinese New Year
義工舉辦新春活動，關顧社區上的長者
世貿總辦事處亦獲環境保護署頒發「清新室
內空氣標誌」、「減廢標誌」和「節能標誌」的
「卓越級別」。
房協致力減碳節約能源，並參與「減碳證
書」計劃。經過四年的努力，世貿總辦事處
在二零一三年七月獲頒發最終的「減碳
20%
證書」。
關懷社區
「房協愛心隊」成員包括房協職員及其家庭成
員，他們均熱心服務社會，於年內參與了五
項義工活動，包括義務工作發展局主辦的賣
旗日、探訪耆康會啟業護理安老院，以及協
助

位長者及弱勢人士。愛心隊去年總出
勤八十九人次，包括四十八名員工及四十一
名家庭成員。
