As a caring employer, the Housing Society provides on-the-job training
opportunities to undergraduates every year during summer holidays.
A total of 48 students from various tertiary institutions joined the
Housing Society Summer Internship Programme 2013 and gained
practical working experience in different divisions or outposts during the
two-month internship.
As a standing practice, the Housing Society runs internship programmes
in conjunction with district bodies and professional associations.
Under the Yuen Long District Students Internship Programme 2013,
14 secondary students from Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai were
temporarily attached to our various divisions to get a feel of the working
environment in the real world.
Besides, two Social Work students from The University of Hong Kong
were placed on the ‘Ageing-in-Place’ programme at Cho Yiu Chuen to
gain first-hand experience. Eight students from the Wuhan University
were taken in on project management work.

Two interns from The University
of Hong Kong gained social work
experience through the
‘Ageing-In-Place’ Scheme
兩名來自香港大學的實習生透過
「樂得耆所」計劃汲取社工經驗

作為關懷社會的僱主，房協每年暑假均為大
專學生提供在職培訓的機會。年內，共有
四十八名大專院校的學生參與為期兩個月的
「二零一三年暑期實習課程」，到房協不同的
部門汲取實際的工作經驗。
房協亦不時聯同各地區組織及專業團體舉辦
實習計劃，包括為元朗區學生而設的「二零
一三年暑期見習計劃」。十四名來自元朗及
天水圍的中學生獲安排到房協各部門作短期
實習，體驗現實的工作環境。
此外，兩名香港大學社會工作及社會行政學
系的學生獲安排到祖堯邨參與「樂得耆所」
計劃，汲取前線工作經驗；而八名來自武漢
大學的學生則獲派參與項目管理的工作。
