During the year, we participated in career talks and job fairs organised
by tertiary education institutions to introduce the career in the Housing
Society as well as the job opportunities we offer. This generated
overwhelming response from a total audience of over 1,100 graduating
students. Over 160 of them showed interest in our positions of Officer
Trainees and 1,350 applications were received for internship with us.
To provide on-the-job training opportunities to the undergraduates,
23 tertiary education institutions were invited to join the 2013 Housing
Society Summer Internship Programme. Under the programme,
48 interns were hired and went through an eight-week on-job training
in various divisions.
The Housing Society has all along been dedicating special efforts
to helping top and second-tier managers to progress as part of the
succession plan. Over the last three years, attention is extended to middle
managers through competency-based workshops. These workshops are
specific to needs, covering strategic-thinking, problem-solving, decision-
making, writing and negotiation skills, etc. The overall objective is to
ensure that there is always a management team competent and ready
to advance in tandem with organisational growth. 131 officers attended
the workshops.

房協亦邀請了二十三間大專院校參與二零
一三年「暑期實習生計劃」，為大學生提供在
職培訓機會。今年的計劃聘用了四十八名實
習生，在不同部門進行為期八個星期的在職
培訓。
房協一直致力栽培高層及二綫的經理級人
員，以配合管理層的繼任安排。過去三年，
我們透過技能工作坊加強對中層經理的培
訓。這些工作坊針對參加者的需要，涵蓋
策略性思維、解難、決策、書寫及協商等技
巧。整體目標是確保我們在任何時候都具備
一個有能力的管理團隊，隨著機構發展向前
邁進。至今已有
