During the year, Chairman of the Housing Society delivered a speech
on ‘Quality Living in an Ageing Community’ in the Building Surveyors
Conference 2013 and opened the Annual Dinner of Structural Engineers
Division of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers with a keynote. At the
Annual Dinner of the Building Division of The Hong Kong Institution of
Engineers, he also gave a speech on ‘Estate Redevelopment in an Era of
Ageing Building and Population’.
Besides, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Housing
Society was the keynote speaker in a seminar organised by The Hong
Kong Association of Property Management Companies in October 2013
which was attended by participants from Mainland cities, Hong Kong,
Taiwan and Macau. His topic was ‘Housing Society’s Contribution to
Building Management and Maintenance for the Community’. He also
spoke at the symposium organised by Hong Kong Quality Assurance
Agency in November 2013 on ‘Sustainable Housing Development for an
Ageing Society – International Trends and Perspectives’.

年內，房協主席曾在「二零一三年香港測量
師學會研討會」中演講，探討如何於人口老
化的社會中締造優質生活，亦為香港工程師
學會結構工程分部的周年晚宴作主禮致詞。
另外，他亦出席了香港工程師學會建築分部
的周年晚宴，並就人口及樓宇老化為屋邨帶
來重建的挑戰發表演說。
房協行政總裁兼執行總幹事則於二零一三年
十月出席香港物業管理公司協會的講座及擔
任主講嘉賓，以「香港房屋協會在樓宇管理
維修的支援角色」為題，與來自內地各大城
市、香港、台灣及澳門的與會者分享經驗。
此外，他亦於同年十一月舉行的「香港品質
保證局專題研討會」上致辭，從國際趨勢及
角度分析老齡化社會中的可持續房屋發展。
