The Harmony Place (H21) and Greenview Villa site teams won a Diamond
Caring Award under the Caring Construction Site Award Scheme 2013
of OSHC. Similarly, the urban renewal project K23 site team won two
Meritorious Awards in respect of ‘Safety Team’ and ‘Safety Worker’.
Protecting the Environment
The Housing Society attaches great importance to sustainable
development and environment protection. It was the first
housing development organisation in Hong Kong to be awarded
ISO14001 certification.
In construction works, we target to achieve Building Environmental
Assessment Method (BEAM) platinum rating for all our urban renewal
projects, retirement housing developments, as well as the others. So far,
one project has achieved the final rating of Platinum Standard and six
have achieved the provisional rating of Platinum Standard in accordance
with the BEAM for New Buildings (Version 4/04). Another project has
achieved the provisional rating of Gold Standard in accordance with the
BEAM Plus for New Buildings (Version 1.1).
In addition, Micro-climate Studies and Thermal Comfort Analysis are
conducted during different design stages to evaluate design option
performance as a standard practice.

展機構。
在建築工程方面，我們的目標是在轄下所有
的市區重建、退休房屋發展及其他項目均取
得「建築環境評估法」的白金評級。到目前
為止，我們其中一個項目已於「建築環境評
估法」

的「新建建築」類別中最終獲
評估為「白金級別」，而有六個亦暫獲評定為
「白金級別」；另一項目則於「綠建環評」
(1.1
版
)
的「新建建築」類別中取得「金級別」。
此外，我們在建築設計各階段進行微氣候研
究和熱舒適分析，並以此作為常規程序，評
估不同設計方案的表現。
