Since its launch, the occupational therapists of the Housing Society and
the voluntary professionals from The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors
have provided help in over 30 cases. Over 8,800 elderly persons and 980
younger ones attended 54 educational talks and 25 days of roadshow.
There were 47 consultations and 27 home assessments conducted jointly
under this Scheme.
Proven successful and popular, the Scheme has been extended to other
districts, with Wan Chai, Yau Tsim Mong and Tsuen Wan being the first
of them.
Building Maintenance Schemes
To address urban decay, the Housing Society has all along been
playing an active role in schemes to improve building maintenance in
the community, to the extent that for the decade starting 2005, it has
earmarked HK$4 billion for the Building Management and Maintenance
Scheme, as well as the Voluntary Building Assessment Scheme and the
Mandatory Building Inspection Subsidy Scheme.
In 2011, the Integrated Building Maintenance Assistance Scheme
(IBMAS) was established jointly by the Housing Society and the Urban
Renewal Authority (URA) to consolidate the various financial assistance
schemes towards maintenance of dilapidated buildings. 3,627 owners
and 127 buildings have received assistance from the Housing Society
under the schemes during the year.

自推出以來，房協的職業治療師聯同香港測
量師學會的義務人員，為超過三十宗個案
提供協助，並舉辦了五十四場教育講座及
二十五天的路演，吸引超過
8,800
位長者及
980
位年輕一輩參與，另聯合進行了四十七
項諮詢及二十七宗家居評估。
計劃取得成功並受歡迎，房協決定將服務
伸延至其他地區，首先為灣仔、油尖旺及
荃灣。
樓宇維修計劃
一直以來，房協透過不同計劃積極改善社區
的樓宇保養工作，以協助解決市區老化的問
題。於二零零五年，房協預留四十億港元在
十年內推行「樓宇管理維修綜合計劃」、「自
願樓宇評審計劃」及「強制驗樓資助計劃」。
於二零一一年，房協聯同市區重建局（市
建局）將多項樓宇維修財務支援計劃整合
為「樓宇維修綜合支援計劃」。年內，共有
3,627
名業主及
127
幢樓宇受惠。
