The Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) announced the appointment of Miss Wong Lai-chun as the Executive Director with effect from 1 November 2002 for a term of three years.

The appointment was endorsed by the Society's Executive Committee after going through open recruitment by an Executive Search Consultant and a series of selection procedures. "The Executive Committee thinks that Miss Wong is the ideal candidate for the position of Executive Director. We are very pleased that she is taking up this senior management position. Having worked in the Society for more than 30 years, she has thorough understanding of its business operations and development.
