Flat for Flat Pilot Scheme for Elderly Owners

The Government accepted the recommendation of Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) in 2018 Policy Address to implement the "Flat for Flat Pilot Scheme for Elderly Owners" ("Flat for Flat Pilot Scheme") for HKHS's subsidised sale developments. The "Flat for Flat Pilot Scheme" enables owners aged 60 or above who owned a flat of designated subsidised sale developments of HKHS for ten years or above to sell their original flat in the relevant Secondary Market with premium unpaid and then buy a smaller one in the same market or the Secondary Market under the Hong Kong Housing Authority, thereby facilitating the circulation of subsidised sale flats to maximise the utilisation of public housing resources and offering an alternative for the elderly owners.

Members of the public can get more information about the Scheme, obtain or download the "Flat for Flat Pilot Scheme" leaflet, application forms and guidelines via this webpage and the following location:
