City-wide Roving Exhibition to Celebrate Housing Society’s Diamond Jubilee
Revisit 75-Year Journey of Creating Homes and Look Ahead to the Future of Sustainable Living

The 75th Anniversary Roving Exhibition of the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) is about to launch tomorrow (30 May) and will tour across Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories in the second half of 2023.  Housing development has always been closely linked to the people’s livelihood, and the exhibition will showcase HKHS’s role as the ‘housing laboratory’ together with its housing schemes and various work plans implemented over the decades.  The evolution of housing in Hong Kong for more than half a century will be presented with photos and videos of historical significance.  This roving exhibition being one of the celebration events of HKHS’s 75th Anniversary is open to all members of the public.

The exhibition features four themed zones using multimedia to show how HKHS has been responding to the community needs since its establishment in 1948, the current business focus of HKHS as well as its vision of ‘Creating Homes for Sustainable Living’.  Moreover, there is an immersive experience zone recounting the development milestones of HKHS and Hong Kong, and also HKHS’s story of creating quality homes for Hong Kong people.  The 180-degree panorama of the immersive experience zone let the visitors retrace the journey of HKHS of developing various housing projects and services in the past 75 years, as though visiting the time tunnel of housing development in Hong Kong with an extraordinary sensory experience.
