Housing Society alerts public to fraudulent website

The Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) has recently noted a fraudulent website (hxxps://mmg-demo[.]malipay[.]money/) purporting to be the website of the HKHS.  The fraudulent website poses as an artificial intelligence (AI) concierge for the “HKHS Fanling Pak Wo Road Exhibition”, tricking users to conduct conversation with purported AI customer service personnel.

HKHS hereby clarifies that the fraudulent website has no connection with HKHS nor any of its businesses and services.  HKHS has referred the case to the Police for investigation.

HKHS alerts and urges the public not to visit suspicious websites and provide any personal information.  The official website of the HKHS is https://www.hkhs.com/en/index.  For enquiry or question, the public may contact the HKHS at 2882 1717.  Members of the public who suspect they have been scammed should report to the Police as soon as possible.
